ABOUT JEFF
Jeff is a Licensed Mental Fitness Facilitator with Mental Fitness Australia and the Director of Strategic Operations at Billabong Clubhouse. With more than seven years of leadership in the psychosocial mental health sector, he brings a strong commitment to helping people build the confidence, habits and support systems that underpin lasting wellbeing.
Jeff began his journey at Billabong Clubhouse as General Manager, where he spent seven years guiding programs, supporting adults with mental health challenges and strengthening the organisation’s community‑focused approach. His leadership has centred on creating safe spaces, where people feel supported and empowered to grow. Today, in his role as Director of Strategic Operations, Jeff continues to shape the long‑term direction of the Clubhouse while remaining deeply connected to the people it supports.
As a facilitator, Jeff brings empathy and a steady presence to every session. His work is grounded in extensive experience supporting adults through psychosocial recovery and a practical focus on helping people strengthen and maintain their mental fitness.
Jeff brings a broad range of lived and professional experience to his work, including running his own small business, competing in sport and coaching others to achieve their goals. These experiences have helped shape his understanding of discipline, resilience, teamwork and the importance of maintaining strong foundations for wellbeing. Jeff’s background also gives him a practical and relatable approach to supporting others, helping people build confidence, develop healthy habits and strengthen the skills that contribute to long-term mental health and wellbeing.
